Mission Statement

To provide opportunities for local visual artists to promote their work and cultivate public appreciation for the visual arts.

About Us

The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco is a volunteer non-profit 501(c )(3) organization dedicated to promoting the visual arts and educating the public. Founded in 2001, VAGF has grown to become a vital part of the local arts community. Each year we host numerous art exhibits, workshops and educational lectures for our members and the public.

Programs and Services

VAGF has numerous regular activities:

  • monthly meetings with educational speakers
  • three Partner Galleries with ongoing shows in partnership with local businesses
  • quarterly Art in the Mayor\’s Office exhibit in partnership with City of Frisco
  • annual En Plein Air festival and competition
  • annual Art Appreciation Awards Dinner
  • three juried exhibitions at Frisco Discovery Center annually
  • occasional art pop-ups at community events
  • live model drawing/painting sessions
  • critique sessions
  • and more!
