At Peoples Impact Network (PIN), we believe your closet has the power to change a life. Our mission is to bridge the gap between sustainability and philanthropy by giving cultural treasures a second life. Every garment sold through our network directly funds the ‘unsung heroes’ of our local communities—small non-profits making a big difference.
The Peoples Impact Network (PIN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to transforming the lifecycle of South Asian fashion into a force for community good. Founded in 2020, PIN bridges the gap between environmental sustainability and grassroots philanthropy by rehoming ethnic clothing to fund micro-grants for smaller, local non-profits. What started as “Clothes for Caring”—a small group of friends selling clothes to support a marathoner diagnosed with ALS—has evolved into a nationwide movement. Today, PIN is a network of volunteers, donors, and changemakers who believe that one garment can truly change a life.
PIN operates on a unique “Triple Win” model that ensures every transaction creates a ripple effect of positivity:
For the Donor: It provides a meaningful way to declutter and “rehome with dignity.”
For the Buyer: It creates accessibility.People can purchase beautiful, authentic ethnic wear at affordable prices, making cultural fashion more inclusive.
For the Community: This is the heart of the mission. The funds raised from these sales are converted into PIN Micro-grants. These funds are specifically directed toward small, local non-profits that often fly under the radar of major donors, supporting causes like women’s empowerment, education, and food security.
PIN’s “Triple Win” Model: Our service model ensures that every transaction benefits the environment, the consumer, and the local community simultaneously. Peoples Impact Network (PIN) offers-
