FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Frisco Chamber of Commerce Announces Expansion and New Programming

Larger space will strengthen support for Frisco’s diverse business community and create room for future programming

(Frisco, TX) The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is preparing for a move resulting in a significant expansion, allowing the organization to better serve its growing membership and respond to the evolving needs of businesses across the city. The Frisco Chamber has purchased 7511 Main Street, Suites 200 and 300, located within the Rail District at The Patios at the Rail. “This new space allows us to dream bigger to impact our members and our community,” said Christal Howard, President/CEO of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.

The move will nearly double the Frisco Chamber’s available space, enabling greater capacity for member services, small-business support, leadership development, meeting areas, and new programming opportunities, including resources for startups and early-stage companies.

“Our mission has always been to advocate for and support the businesses that drive Frisco’s economy,” Howard said.  “By expanding our space, we will be better equipped to meet the needs of businesses and job creators of all sizes, from long-standing companies and established employers to entrepreneurs and emerging founders. This move opens the door for new service-focused initiatives that strengthen Frisco’s business ecosystem.”

The Frisco Chamber has been part of the Rail District for more than 40 years, from its earliest days in a small caboose near the railroad tracks to its current home on Main Street. As the Frisco Chamber Board considered multiple options, remaining downtown was a priority.

Chad Sterling, Past Chair of the Frisco Chamber Board, served as Chair of the Building Committee and shared the committee’s vision for the move. “Our goal has always been to ensure the Frisco Chamber has the tools and space necessary to support Frisco’s dynamic business community,” said Sterling. “Expanding into the space at 7511 Main allows the Frisco Chamber to continue meeting businesses where they are—today and well into the future.”

The expanded space at 7511 Main will include two floors of offices, collaborative areas, a podcast studio, and flexible meeting space designed to support members through workshops, business resources, leadership development, peer networks, community conversations, and new offerings to assist entrepreneurs and startup businesses.

“It’s a privilege to welcome the Frisco Chamber of Commerce to The Patios at the Rail. This development was intentionally created as a gathering place—where commerce, culture, and community intersect. Having the Chamber here reinforces exactly why we built this project, and we’re grateful to share it with the people helping shape Frisco’s future and the existing businesses who call The Patios their home,” shared Donny Churchman, CEO, Nack Development

As part of its expanded programming, the Frisco Chamber is preparing to launch a new Business Accelerator in the second half of 2026. A performance agreement with the Frisco Economic Development Corporation (EDC) supports this initiative, further positioning Frisco as a center for entrepreneurship and innovation.

“This expansion strengthens the Chamber’s ability to serve our business community and launch new initiatives that support local founders and entrepreneurs. The Frisco Economic Development Corporation is proud to partner with the Chamber to ensure small businesses – our economic backbone – have the tools and advisory resources to thrive. When public and private partners come together, we create the environment for growth and long-term prosperity,” said Jason Ford, President, Frisco Economic Development Corporation

“The Frisco Chamber of Commerce has been a cornerstone of the Rail District for decades,” said Mayor Jeff Cheney. “We’re excited to see the Chamber move to modern space so it can continue to support businesses now and into the future.  The move also allows the City of Frisco to reimagine the original, historic city block as downtown Frisco evolves and grows.”

Highlighting the role of startups in driving innovation and long-term economic vitality, Ryan Gebhart, 2026 Chair of the Board, noted, “Startups bring fresh ideas, talent, and energy that spark innovation across every sector. The partnership between the Frisco Chamber and the Frisco EDC ensures those entrepreneurs have the resources and environment they need to succeed.”

The Frisco Chamber’s Board of Directors recently adopted a new Strategic Plan outlining the organization’s key priorities following member feedback. “This expansion is directly aligned with those goals and the needs we heard,” said Barbara Milo, 2025 Chair of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and Frisco Chamber Foundation Board. “The new space is the physical representation of this new Strategic Plan and continued commitment to our business community.”

Following minor renovations, the Frisco Chamber anticipates relocating to its new office space by July 2026. Additional plans for the new project will be shared at the Frisco Chamber’s Annual Awards Gala on February 20, 2026, at Omni PGA Frisco Resort.
