FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Frisco Chamber of Commerce State of the City Luncheon

The Frisco Chamber of Commerce business owners and area residents are invited to join our new Mayor Jeff Cheney at the Chamber’s annual State of the City Luncheon. In the spirit of transparency, the Mayor’s address will lay out his 100-Day Plan to deliver on commitments and critical objectives outlined during the campaign. Mayor Cheney is eager to move Frisco towards this vision. This event also includes Leadership Frisco Class XX graduation.

The State of the City Luncheon will be held at the Embassy Suites, Dallas-Frisco Hotel, Conference Center & Spa, on Tuesday, June 21, 2017 at 11:15 AM. Embassy Suites is located at 7600 John Q. Hammons Drive in Frisco, Texas.

“With over 600 people registered, this will definitely be our largest luncheon to date,” said Tony Felker, President/CEO of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. “Obviously, Mayor Cheney is a big reason for this turnout, but I believe it also speaks loudly to the growth in the area, the positive attitude throughout the business community, and how all of our community partners are working toward one vision.”

This year’s State of the City Luncheon is co-sponsored by CobbFendley and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. Garver, LLC is the parking sponsor for the event. Executive Sponsors are Brinkmann Ranch, Landmark Bank, Parkhill Smith & Cooper, and Peinado Construction.

“CobbFendley is excited to once again be a part of a great Frisco event. We always look for opportunities to contribute to our community and the Chamber’s State of the City is always a big highlight for the year. We are looking forward to the continued successes in Frisco with Mayor Jeff Cheney and the City Council,” shared Cal Bostwick, Senior Vice President of CobbFendley.

“Texas Health Plano is honored to partner with the Frisco Chamber as we value the vital role of the Chamber as it supports, strengthens and grows members’ businesses, creating a vibrant Frisco business community. We are also pleased to congratulate the Leadership Frisco graduates and look forward to their future contributions to Frisco,” said Steve Hadzima, MD, Chief Medical Officer.

Twenty one members of the community will graduate from the Leadership Frisco Program, which celebrates the completion of its 20th year. Leadership Frisco is a nine-month community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, designed to develop a pool of qualified, highly motivated individuals who are interested in expanding their leadership skills, deepening their sense of civic responsibility, and becoming more involved in their community as a whole.
