FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Frisco Chamber of Commerce State of the City Luncheon

The Frisco Chamber of Commerce business owners and area residents are invited to join Mayor Maher Maso in his final Frisco Chamber’s annual State of the City Address. Mayor Maso will be joined by City Manager, George Purefoy, and Frisco Economic Development Corporation (EDC) President, James L. Gandy, at the Embassy Suites, Dallas-Frisco Hotel, Conference Center & Spa, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:30 AM. Embassy Suites is located at 7600 John Q. Hammons Drive in Frisco, Texas.

“With the opening of The Star, the development of major mixed-use projects along the Dallas North Tollway, the commencement of Mayor Maso’s final year in office, and the pending retirement of City Manager George Purefoy, every business needs to be aware of how these changes might impact their operations,” said Tony Felker, President/CEO of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s State of the City Luncheon is sponsored by Texas Republic Bank and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. “Texas Republic Bank is proud to be a lead sponsor, for the second year in a row, of the Frisco Chamber’s State of the City luncheon. As the only bank headquartered in Frisco, it is only logical that we would partner with the Chamber as we celebrate all the exciting developments in this great city!” stated David Baty, President/CEO, Texas Republic Bank.

“Texas Health Plano is pleased to partner with the Frisco Chamber and serve as a sponsor of the State of the City luncheon and celebrate the Leadership Frisco graduates. Texas Health Plano values the vital role the Chamber plays in the Frisco community as it supports businesses development and economic growth and provides resources for enhanced business performance. Texas Health Plano is honored to support the Frisco Chamber and its dedication to our vibrant business community,” said Steve Hadzima, MD, MBA Chief Medical Officer.

This event also includes Leadership Frisco Class XIX graduation. Leadership Frisco is a nine-month community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, designed to develop a pool of qualified, highly motivated individuals who are interested in expanding their leadership skills, deepening their sense of civic responsibility, and becoming more involved in their community as a whole.

Businesses have the opportunity to sponsor a table. The deadline to sponsor a table is June 14, 2016. Individual tickets can be purchased at www.FriscoChamber.com. Tickets to this event will sell out quickly. Free parking will be available at this event compliments of Oncor.
