Frisco Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Veteran-Owned Businesses and Companies Who Hire Veterans

We’d like to recognize our local veteran-owned businesses and our businesses who hire veterans. The Governor of Texas has created an initiative to hire veterans in an effort to absorb the 20,000 released from duty every year. Currently, we are about two years behind in finding jobs for all for our veterans.

Do You Hire Veterans?

Did you know businesses who hire veterans receive a reduction of business federal tax liability by $2,400 to $9,600 per qualifying veteran hired with no limits to how many qualifying new hires are eligible for the tax credit for you? If you are interested in learning more, let us know and we will connect you with the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Unit at the Texas Workforce Commission.
