I am interested in business management and learning how businesses work behind the scenes. I want to gain experience in areas like marketing, leadership, and entrepreneurship while learning from professionals. I hope to build my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving and learn more about what a career in business could look like.

I\’m a rising junior at Independence High School, interested in business, technology, and the automotive industry(sales), alongside growing interests in research and communication. I\’m looking for an internship this fall (preferably remote) where I can gain hands-on experience.

I\’m part of my school\’s BPA chapter, and have taken numerous AP courses like AP Seminar, World, Human Geography and actively taking summer courses for AP Microeconomics and AP Psychology. I\’m actively running a small business project working with partners overseas to build a clothing brand, actively reinvesting 40% of gross revenue back into products. Through my coursework in Business Essentials and Excel Applications, along with my experience managing social media strategy and tracking engagement metrics for Dream4All, I’ve developed a practical understanding of how organizations grow and sustain themselves, skills I’m eager to apply to supporting local businesses in our community. I am interested in business administration, specifically marketing and management. I have been a sales associate working in retail for a few months and have wanted to learn more about consumer behavior, marketing strategies, branding, and finance.

I\’m a rising senior at Reedy High School, and I founded and run Roshan\’s Chess Academy (roshanschessacademy.com), where I teach around 10 recurring students chess strategy and host weekly tournaments for them. I\’m a District Champion and State Finalist in DECA\’s Retail Merchandising Series event and qualified for the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in my first year competing. I\’ve taken 10 AP courses through junior year (with 7 more planned for senior year), scored a 1520 on the SAT (790 Math), and plan to study business and/or economics in college.

I\’m seeking an internship in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, or operations, ideally with a small business or startup where I can learn and understand how a real organization actually runs and contributes meaningfully. I\’m available 5–10 hours per week, in-person or virtual. I\’ll be traveling abroad from June 20 to early-July, but can work remotely during that time if needed.

Management consulting, business strategy, and data analytics

As a student with a strong interest in finance, I am eager to gain hands-on experience in the industry. Throughout my academic journey and extracurricular activities, I have developed strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills. My internship at Emergere Technologies this past summer allowed me to support financial reporting and data analysis, which strengthened my understanding of many financial principles. Additionally, my leadership roles in DECA and Athletic Leadership Council have enhanced my communication and teamwork abilities. Finally, my commitment as a Hospice caretaker at Hospice Plus for over two years led to my strong interpersonal and empathetic skills, while allowing me to give back to my community.

I am particularly drawn to this internship/ mentorship because of the program’s commitment to enabling learning and professional growth. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate alongside experienced professionals while developing skills in finance, or in any other position that I am offered.
