Graduating INTO Leadership

Leadership Frisco Class XXVIII: Graduating Into Leadership and Making an Impact

On May 9, 2025, 26 twenty six leaders took the stage—not just to graduate, but to step into leadership. This long-standing phrase captures the essence of the Leadership Frisco program, where professionals and engaged citizens alike learn how to give back through civic and community involvement—from serving on nonprofit boards to volunteering within the city.

Each year, the class chooses a project to benefit the community. Class XXVIII hit it out of the park—or rather, the gym floor—with a high-energy Dodgeball Tournament that raised more than $25,000 for the Frisco Education Foundation (FEF). The funds will directly benefit educators across the district, reinforcing the class’s commitment to supporting those who shape Frisco’s future.

Class XXVIII didn’t just complete a program—they made a lasting hit on the community, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, collaboration, and giving back.

What is Leadership Frisco?

Leadership Frisco is a nine-month program of the Frisco Chamber Foundation, the 501(c)(3) arm of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. The Leadership Frisco program includes a full day each month dedicated to exploring the inner workings of Frisco and areas to serve in leadership within the community. In addition to the class days, the members select and implement a project that benefits our community.

Here are just a few ways that Leadership Frisco can benefit you or someone in your organization:

  • Make life-long connections with class members across a variety of industries.
  • Connect with and learn from leaders in the community
  • Grow both personally and professionally.
  • Discover where and how to get plugged in and serve in the community.
  • Make an impact in the community with the class project.
