On June 26, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott announced that the COVID-19 openings would be put on hold. He rolled back previous executive orders that allowed bars and restaurants to be open. Under his new orders bars would be closed effective noon on June 26, 2020, and restaurants would be required to operate at 50% occupancy. The city of Frisco has updated their “Open Frisco” documentation accordingly.
