Frisco Administers 7,800 Vaccine Doses in 4 Days

Please see the following information from the City of Frisco.

(February 5, 2021 – 6:00 p.m.) The City of Frisco administered its entire vaccine allocation of 7,800 doses in four days, February 2 – 5.  At this time, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has not allocated additional vaccine to our city for next week. As a result, Frisco’s Vaccine Hub at Stonebriar Centre will be closed beginning Saturday, February 6.  In the meantime, Frisco’s Vaccine Team will be working to improve processes and remain ready to distribute more vaccine when made available. Thank you for your understanding. Stay healthy and thank you for spreading kindness, not the virus.

In case you missed it…

  • The notice alerting subscribers about ‘open registration’ for vaccine appointments was sent on Thursday, February 4 at 8:19 p.m.
  • Due to high demand, the available appointments for Friday, February 5, filled in 13 minutes.
  • If your ‘Focal Point’ subscription was received after 8:20 p.m., on Thursday, February 4, you did not receive the ‘open registration’ notice.
  • If you have accessed a ‘retired’ page that prompted you for a password, please note: Password access is only available to medical personnel operating the vaccine site. We are not issuing passwords – and you do not need a password to subscribe to the city’s newsletter.

Rest assured, the City of Frisco is committed to vaccinating as many people as possible.  We’re hopeful we will continue to receive more vaccines. Thanks so much for your continued patience and understanding – and thanks for spreading kindness, not the virus.
