Governor Abbott has made it clear: Texas needs a skilled, digital-ready workforce to stay competitive. CARDBoard Project isn’t waiting for someone else to step in. We’re upskilling underrepresented groups – single parents, returning citizens, people experiencing homelessness, and the elderly so they can take advantage of new opportunities and fill the jobs Texas needs filled.
2. We’re not just closing the digital divide—we’re building a stronger economy.
When people gain digital skills, they become eligible for better jobs. That means more families lifted out of poverty and more workers contributing to the local economy.   Digital skills are the new “basic skills.” By providing training, devices, and ongoing support, we’re giving people the tools they need to succeed for life—not just for a moment. That’s a long-term investment in the strength of our community.
4. We’re delivering on the promise of equal opportunity.  Too many Texans are shut out because they lack internet access or computer know-how. CARDBoard Project levels the playing field, so everyone—regardless of background—can pursue education, jobs, and full participation in society
