Thank you for participating in the Summer edition of the Rail District Receipt Race.

We’re excited to award prize money to the winning organizations! Please follow these steps carefully to ensure your PTA’s receipts qualify.

Step 1: Collect Receipts

Eligible receipts: Any dollar amount from any Rail District business
Valid dates: May 9 – September 30, 2025
Encourage families to turn in receipts by October 18, 2025 (or your PTA’s chosen internal deadline)
Post a final reminder on your PTA’s social media and school emails

Step 2: Audit, Count, and Organize

Audit all receipts to verify they meet the date and location criteria.
Total all receipts collected (May 9–September 30, 2025):
- On the coversheet for Stack #1, include:
  - Total Number of Qualifying Receipts collected between May 9 – September 16, 2025.
  - Total Dollar Amount of Qualifying Receipts collected between May 9 – September 16, 2025.
Separate bonus receipts:
- Create Stack #2 for receipts dated September 17–30, 2025.
- On the coversheet for Stack #2, include:
  - Number of Receipts Dated September 17–30.
  - Total Dollar Amount Dated September 17–30.

Once we determine the face value of the receipts collected during the bonus period, we’ll do the math for you!

4. Attach coversheets and secure each stack with a binder clip (no staples).

5. Clearly list your PTA name and contact information on both stacks.

Step 3: Submit to the Frisco Chamber

Deadline: 4:00 PM, October 30, 2025
Location: Frisco Chamber of Commerce
6843 Main Street, Frisco, TX 75034
(Parking and entrance located at the rear of the building.)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Important: Mailed receipts cannot be accepted.

Step 4: Review and Awards

Chamber volunteers will recount and audit all submissions.
Prize Categories:
- Most Receipts: 1st – $3,000 | 2nd – $2,000 | 3rd – $1,000
- Highest Dollar Total: 1st – $3,000 | 2nd – $2,000 | 3rd – $1,000
Each PTA can only win one prize.
Checks will be issued to PTA 501(c)(3) organizations only (documentation required).

Getting to the Frisco Chamber

Please park in the back parking lot (off of Elm St.) and enter through the back entrance when dropping off receipts. (See the picture below.)

With the construction on Main St, if you are traveling from the south, the use of Parkwood will help you avoid construction traffic. If you are traveling from the north, North County Rd is a good route to take south, cross over Main Street, and then utilize Elm Street, heading west to the Frisco Chamber.

Participating Businesses

How It Works:

Shop, dine, do business with/buy from any Frisco Rail District business (see the Old Town Commercial map) between May 9, 2025, and September 30, 2025.
Save your receipts! Put them in a safe place as you won’t turn them in until school is back in session!
Turn receipts in to your favorite PTA no later than October 15, 2025. (Digital receipts cannot be accepted and must be printed before being turned in.) Any PTA in any district can participate but must have a 501(c)(3) status.
PTAs: Turn in your receipts to the Frisco Chamber of Commerce no later than October 30, 2025. Receipts must be stacked and bound with PTA name, contact name, plus total number of receipts calculated and total dollar amount of receipts calculated. The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is located at 6843 Main Street in the Rail District and open between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.
A blind audit will be performed, and winners will be notified.

School Spirit Meets Local Spending

The Frisco Chamber Foundation’s second Rail District Receipt Race proved that when schools and small businesses rally together, everyone wins. This round of the initiative awarded $12,000 to six local PTAs, while driving meaningful spending to Frisco Rail District businesses during an important season.

Through coordinated outreach and creative participation, PTAs encouraged families to shop, dine, and do business locally, transforming everyday purchases into real support for neighborhood retailers and restaurants.

By the Numbers

The results speak for themselves:

745 receipts turned in
$47,498 spent at Frisco Rail District businesses
$80,000+ in documented economic support generated across both Receipt Race editions to date

Each receipt reflected more than spending; it demonstrated intentional support for Rail District businesses during construction and an investment in the district’s long-term vitality.
