About Us

TLT Community Statement

A community is not complete without the engagement of everyone! TLT – Tomorrow’s Leaders Today is dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders through dynamic, cohort-based learning experiences. We don’t just teach classes; we build collaborative cohorts that mirror real-world professional environments. Each TLT participant will take part in a community service project that can be served at various organizations and locations throughout the community.

At TLT – Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, we move beyond traditional instruction by utilizing a high-impact cohort model. We carefully select cohort facilitators and mentors who align directly with each participant’s specific career interests. This tailored approach ensures that every retreat, internship, and community service project builds meaningful, professional connections. Our participants don’t just learn; they evolve into self-sufficient community leaders equipped for any career path they choose.

From the start in 2019, TLT focuses on serving those in low-and-moderate income communities. In 2023, we were at 59.26% and as of Dec. 2025 we are at 98%.

TLT Veteran Gateway Program Our goal is to provide vital assistance to transitioning service members and veterans as they navigate the challenging journey from military life to civilian life. We understand that this transition can be incredibly challenging, and for many veterans, it can lead to unemployment, homelessness, depression, marital issues, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and a range of other physical, emotional, and financial challenges. For many veterans, the struggle persists even decades after their discharge from the military. At TLT, we stand as the gateway that fills the gaps left by the military experience. We do this through our Program, which brings veterans together to support and mentor one another. Our organization is driven by the belief that veterans should not have to face the challenges of civilian life alone. By offering mentorship, training, and networking opportunities, we aim to empower veterans and provide them with the resources they need to transition successfully. Through TLT, we strive to honor the service of our veterans by ensuring they have the support and guidance required to thrive in their civilian lives.

A Legacy of Leadership: TLT Texas Leadership-Blackland Prairie Program. Our comprehensive curriculum continues to provide deep-dive insights into leadership dynamics, public safety, and regional government. Building on the success of previous cohorts, our sessions remain dedicated to accessibility, disabilities, and inclusion, ensuring every graduate is equipped to lead an inclusive community. To date, our Cohorts have launched 8 community impact projects that directly benefit the North Texas Region.
