STCA was founded in 2006 by a renowned behavioral pediatrician, Dr. Paul Warren, in partnership with Christ Church in Plano.  Our school has leased space from three different Plano churches over the years. We serve several families from Frisco, as well as families from Carrollton, Lewisville, McKinney, Prosper, Allen. . . and others.  Every student in our school, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, has learning disabilities of some sort.  We serve students who have not done well in more traditional school settings.  Our class sizes are small (usually no more than 7 students), and most of our classes have at least one classroom assistant.  We offer onsite speech therapy, alphabetic phonics for students struggling with dyslexia, and 1-to-1 adjusted curriculum for each student.  We constantly work with our students on their social and emotional regulation skills, showing them how to deal with frustrations and challenges in a redemptive way.
