FYSO makes young musicians to realize music power could change environments and mindsets to deliver positive and optimistic and love to community’s. FYSO makes young musicians to service communities by music and culture impacts.
FYSO encourages young musicians to pursue their dreams with passion.
FYSO provides opportunities to our very own Frisco youths from 6th grade to 12th grade, as well as those from neighboring cities, to perform and improve as part of a full orchestra outside of school. Students will be able to access a greater range of orchestral skills and pursue professional standards of music training that may not be possible in their school. Rehearsals are conducted once every week at the Frisco Discovery Center in preparation for community service and concerts. The repertoires are carefully selected for the specific programs that are proposed every year. At our concerts, graduating seniors are acknowledged and receive scholarship awards. We have many students who majored and minored in music in college under FYSO’s impact.
FYSO develops music trainings from basic music theory, music appreciation and teamwork of various genres of music from weekly rehearsals. FYSO trains music commitments from events, senior centers, partnerships with other organizations, community services, public meetings and major Concerts.
