Looking Back
As I reflect on the past year, I am proud to report that the Frisco Chamber of Commerce has made significant progress in several areas. Together, we have made great strides in strengthening the Frisco Chamber by formalizing our strategic plan, hosting more impactful events, and establishing the Frisco Chamber Foundation.
This year, our “Solutions Groups” have been hard at work brainstorming innovative ideas in the key focus areas identified in our strategic plan – workforce issues/advocacy, small business ecosystem, community nonprofit assistance, and financial literacy. These key initiatives will allow us to work on essential areas in the community that will make a long-lasting impact.
The events put on by the Frisco Chamber have emerged even stronger after the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are grateful for the support of our members and the community in making these events a success.
Our Frisco Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a future 501(c)(3) organization will help us continue pushing the Frisco Chamber forward in our key focus areas and will also allow us to strengthen our existing programs, such as Leadership Frisco and our Young Entrepreneurs Academy.
Our impactful events, the development of our Foundation, and the formalization of our strategic plan will all aid in our ability to stay current with the rapid growth of Frisco’s dynamic business landscape.
It has been a pleasure to serve as the Chair of the Board for the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, and I am honored to pass the torch to our new Board Chair, Ashley Miller. I am incredibly proud of the quality of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and I have no doubt that they will continue to do great things under the leadership of our Frisco Chamber President/CEO, Tony Felker, and his amazing Frisco Chamber team.
Thank you for your support and dedication to the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
