Grace Bridge

Mission Statement

The mission of Grace Bridge is to provide the basic necessities of life to those in need in our local community. Whether through a box of food, an article of clothing, or a purposeful conversation, we strive to build relationships that will ultimately lead to life transformation. Grace Bridge is led by a dedicated staff and driven by committed volunteers, focused on equipping neighbors to help neighbors. As we develop lasting relationships with individuals and families within our community, our hope is to see those we have once served return that same help to others.

About Us

What started out as a small group of Celina men serving their community members with food during the Thanksgiving holiday evolved into a multi-operational nonprofit, executing on five initiatives to meet the needs of our neighbors.

In the fall of 2010, Mr. Loper and Carter were serving together in Celina through the Celina Christian Business Men’s Fellowship. For nearly 25 years, they had been providing baskets of food to the community during Thanksgiving and Christmas. As Mr. Loper approached retirement, he sought to dedicate his time to activities that demonstrated care for people and shared God’s love in a meaningful way.

A pivotal conversation about the needs of the families they served beyond the holiday season led to the inception of Grace Bridge and Master Cares in April 2011. Their mission was to assist families in North Texas and Uganda with basic necessities while also imparting the hope found in Jesus Christ, transcending their challenging circumstances.

Grace Bridge started as a simple bi-monthly food box distribution program and has since grown exponentially. Meanwhile, Master Cares in southern Uganda began by helping farmers with microfinancing and teaching churches to conduct small group Bible studies. Each year, God has faithfully provided more opportunities to love families and share His message of hope globally.
