The Frisco Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are the face of the Frisco Chamber, serving in a volunteer capacity. Ambassadors give of their time at either the weekly Chamber Works networking or Ribbon Cutting ceremonies or both.

Meet Mandy, Our Ribbon Cutting Ambassador of the Month for December
Mandy is the Media Sales Consultant for Star Local Media, a news and marketing company, and Frisco Enterprise’s publisher, which has brought Frisco its news for over 60 years. Mandy works on the marketing side of the company, which offers various advertising services, from local print and digital to behavioral tracking, lead capture, and digital presence reports, to name a few.
In her role, Mandy meets with clients to “find out who they are, what they do, and who they would like to reach.” With this information, she sees how best to serve that need. Mandy also represents the company at various community functions. She’s perfect for this role as a people person who likes developing personal connections.

Some of Mandy’s notable accomplishments include:
• Outstanding Troop Leader award from Girl Scouts of Central Texas
• Double certified as a Texas Master Naturalist
• Heading into my 25th year of marriage. We’ve built a close-knit family by finding joy in the little things, celebrating absolutely everything, and developing an absurd amount of traditions, like watching Little Shop of Horrors every year on the 23rd Day of September.
What Do You Like Most About Being a Frisco Chamber Ambassador?
I love meeting new people and making connections. It checks a little box for me when I can be helpful. One of the best ways to be helpful is by being present and welcoming, and that’s what being a Frisco Chamber Ambassador is all about.
